Alejandro quiere decirle que la quiere y desea que Cassandra se sienta segura a su lado.
Por eso es que nos reunimos a diseñar y fabricar un anillo de compromiso que contara esa historia.

Y la historia comienza cuando Alejandro le dijo a Cassandra que quería casarse con ella en un momento muy espontáneo y obviamente ¡no tenía anillo preparado! Así que se quitó el reloj y se lo entregó a ella como símbolo de la promesa hecha (Abajo ves a ella portando el reloj).
Entonces, el anillo que él le entregaría estaría oculto dentro de un reloj idéntico, sólo habría que encontrar ¿Cómo sería ese anillo?
The story begins when Alejandro asked Cassandra if she wanted to marry him, that occurs in a very spontaneous moment... and obviously he doesn't have an engagement ring! So, he take off his watch and gave it to her as a symbol of promise (You can see the pic below).
So, the ring that he will gave her must fit inside an identical watch, now we need to discover: How this engagement ring will look?
La idea comenzó con el concepto de promesa real. Un promesa que será cumplida.
Así que encontré la inspiración en los anillos tipo Gimmel (parecidos a los tipo Fede o Claddagh) populares en la época Medieval en Inglaterra, Alemania y otros países.
Hay tres anillos, al centro un corazón y en los extremos dos manos que se "unen". Al comprometerse, el hombre porta un anillo, la mujer otro y el tercero lo tiene un testigo, que dará fé del compromiso que se ha de celebrar. El día de la boda, los tres anillos se juntan y los porta la nueva esposa; completando el amor.
The idea starts with concept of real promise. A promise that will be done.
So, I looked as inspiration the Gimmel rings (similar to Fede o Claddagh) very popular on the Medieval period on England, Germany and other countries.
There's three rings, in the middle one a heart and in the outsider rings two hand that "hold" together when the ring is "closed". When the couple engaged, the man wears one ring, the woman another one and a witness the third one, because she/he will give faith of the new commitment. On the wedding day, the three rings come together again and the wife wears them completing the love.
El anillo diseñado lleva un Ónix montado en un prisma irregular guardando lo más preciado: el amor mutuo, centro de su relación.
A los costados unas garras que detienen y al mismo tiempo liberan, creando una complicidad y un encuentro.
The designed ring has an irregular Onix with an irregular setting, keeping the most valuable: the mutual love, center of their relationship.
On both sides, prongs that holds and at the same time release, creating complicity and match.
Para darle vida, se hizo el diseño en cera para después vaciarlo a la cera perdida en oro rosa de 14K y colocar garras y un mecanismo que hace que se "abran" los tres anillos, ambos en oro amarillo de 14K. Las iniciales de los dos, estarán marcadas en el mecanismo (abajo verás una foto donde se muestra).
The ring were sculpted in wax, and then casted in 14K rose gold with prongs and a mechanism that makes the three rings "open", both of them in 14K yellow gold.
The initials will be engraved on the mechanism (below you will see an image).

El amor requiere de promesas, de cuidados, de respiros.
Eso dice éste anillo, compuesto por el pasado, presente y futuro; abrazando y cuidando, abriéndose y respirando.
Love needs promises, care and breaths.
That says this ring, composed by the past, the present and the future; holding and caring, opening and breathing.
Así, un 14 de abril de 2013, Alejandro escondió el anillo de compromiso dentro de un reloj idéntico al que ella usó algún tiempo como símbolo de promesa, pero éste con las letras grabadas: CASATE CONMIGO.

On april 14th, 2013, Alejandro hides the new engagement ring inside of the identical watch as the one she used some time as a promise symbol, but this one with the engraved letters: MARRY ME.

Anillos en oro rosa de 14K. Unidos con banda en oro amarillo de 14K en base -con grabado de inciales-. Estructura central con ónix facetado a mano en montaje a bisel. Las garras de oro amarillo de 14K son "decorativas" al no sujetar realmente la estructura central.
14K Rose gold rings. Attached with a 14K yellow gold band -with initials engraved-. Central estructure with hand-faceted onix in a bezel setting. The prongs in 14K yellow gold are "ornamental" because they don't set the stone.
Prometer amor eterno, amor incondicional y verdadero... el único! Es lo que Alejandro le quiere decir todos los días a Cassandra.
